How it works
Foam first, contact second, pressure last. That order keeps grit off the paint instead of grinding it in. Here is the Clean cycle, step by step.
Low-pH spray loosens road film and brake dust.
pH-neutral blanket lifts grit before anything touches the car.
Closed-cell filament, rinsed continuously while it spins.
Arch with eleven nozzles follows the shape of the roof.
Low jets aimed at rims and wheel wells.
Spot-free de-ionised water with a light polymer.
Contour dryers, then a quick towel check at the exit.
Thick pH-neutral foam dwells for ninety seconds so dirt slides off rather than being scrubbed.
Closed-cell foam strips, not bristle. They cannot hold sand, so nothing drags across the clear coat.
A three-stage settling tank sends 82% of the water back to the jets and keeps the drain clean.
The last pass uses de-ionised water, so drying leaves no mineral spots to polish off.
About us
RINSE LAB opened in 2014 as a single self-serve bay next to the Harbor Loop ferry lot. Customers kept asking for a wash they could trust with dark paint, so in 2021 we rebuilt the site around a soft-touch tunnel, a water recycling plant and a finishing lane staffed by real detailers.
We still test every new chemical on our own cars first, and the tunnel is serviced every Monday morning before opening.

Our brushes are closed-cell foam, not bristle, and they only touch the car after ninety seconds of snow foam. Foam cannot trap sand the way cloth or nylon can, and the strips are rinsed while they spin.
Roof boxes and fixed rails are fine. Bike racks, loose antennas and vehicles taller than 2.3 m (7 ft 6 in) cannot go through the tunnel. For those we offer a touchless hand wash in the finishing lane from $30.
Walk-ins are always welcome. Booking gives you the reserved lane, which matters on Saturday mornings and after rain, when the regular queue can reach 20 minutes.
Reply to any billing email, call us, or tell the attendant at the gate. Cancelling stops the next charge and the plan runs until the end of the paid month. Pausing freezes billing for up to 60 days.
