HOMEBOARD started in 2015 as a two-person electrical contractor fitting dimmer racks for a single developer. The automation came later, and in the order it should: we learned the wiring before we learned the software.
That order still shows in how we work. Every job starts at the cabinet, every device is wired rather than paired, and every system is handed over with drawings on paper. If we disappeared tomorrow, another contractor could pick your house up in an afternoon.
Nine people work here: five on site, two in design, one in the workshop and one who answers the phone. There is no sales team — the person who quotes your job is the person who will be standing in your hallway.
They quoted $13,100 and invoiced $13,100. The only surprise was that the crew patched the chases themselves instead of leaving it to my decorator.

Commissioning ran a day late because a blind drive arrived faulty. They told us before we noticed and swapped it at their cost. Everything since has been quiet.
